Now I had two tasks on my list of work items to be completed for the day, one task is from the onsite team, who wanted to work on the solution slides even before the client had shared their information and the other task is from my manager with irrelevant details. I had to prioritize the task list so that both tasks are completed on time without any escalations or follow-ups. I knew that my manager's task is irrelevant and would not be of much importance, and the insight he had shared was completely out of context, so I can park this task for a while. The other task from the onsite team required only a few calls to be made to other accounts for similar expertise and it can be completed in 30 mins, so I rushed with this task first and completed in a few mins. Now, I jumped back to the task assigned by my manager and started to compile the information that he had requested, and besides, I had also included a few slides from my expertise and insights from previous client requirements.
